Got a customer with BPC MS 10.0 Service Pack 11, SQL Server 2008 and Excel 2010. Two environments.
They've been noticing lately (last few weeks) that their environments keep turning themselves offline, sporadically and for no rhyme or reason. While the admins ultimately go in and turn the system back online, it's a nuisance to do so, and because they have scheduled jobs that often run at night during off-hours, they come in first thing in the morning to find out those jobs haven't run.
Could a back-end change have caused this in any way? Any updates or things to look at on the SQL Server or app server/dB server?
