EPM Add-in for BPC 10.0M on Citrix XenApp 6.5

Hello friends,

A need has arisen within our organization to host the BPC 10 EPM Add-in client via a Citrix server. We are upgrading from BPC 7.5M to 10.0M and found that the two clients do not play well with each other on the same client machine. At this point, our 10.0 environment is development/Test/QA and we've got a group of 50-60 power users who we'd like to test the 10.0 system. We'd like to get this group of users access to 10.0 client via Citrix so that their production 7.5 clients are not disrupted. We have not used Citrix previously for BPC.

Some questions:

1. Has anyone successfully set up BPC 10 on Citrix XenApp 6.5? Can you share your experiences, pain points, tips, limitations, etc?

2. Is there any reason to install the EPM 32 bit add-in over the EPM Big Volume Add-in in a Citrix setup?

3. How have you been able to determine if BPC application issues are caused by BPC versus the underlying Citrix environment?  In SAP note 1492000, SAP states “SAP only supports virtualization solutions that behave in a fully transparent manner to the application. If the virtualization solution does not behave fully transparently the relevant technology partner must provide support for the virtualization solution to become transparent". Has this been an issue for anyone?

Thank you for reading and I look forward to your feedback!
