I used to be able to modify packages in MS and no longer can for some packages. I've tested my security in my DEV environment where I've got full access with the same results. This behavior can only be constantly replicated in some packages, not all. All my packages are in the same folder.
In BPC MS version: attempting to modify a package under the Planning and Consolidation ribbon -> More -> Organize Package List -> Select a Package Name - > Right Click -> Modify Package -> Click on the View Package icon by the File Name (next to the open folder) -> then Advanced.
In the Data Manager Dynamic Script window, when I make changes, click OK -> Save -> Save -> Save -> OK (I get the message Package List Successfully Updated), the changes do not take. When I go back in the Data Manager Dynamic Script window, my changes are not present.
This both in 7.5.106 and 7.5.112.07
In other words, I'm able to modify some packages successfully.
Another thing I've noticed while testing the security (Manage Team User Package Access), I've removed the check mark against two packages (one I could modify and the other I can't in the Administrator team) and two things happened: I can still update the package and each time I put a check mark on "All Package" and save successfully, I go back in and the check mark is gone.
