I have a very simple BPC 10 MS Model with roughly 7000 Facts, 5 Dimensions, and 3 Comments. We are using Excel 2003.
Saving and refreshing data and comments works fine and takes about a second.
Once I activate EPM --> Extra --> Options --> Sheet options --> Show comments as Excel-Comments, the refresh of the sheet takes about 30 Seconds.
I tried this with the latest Excel AddIn SP17 as well as with SP 13. However both shows the same behaviour.
Can anyone tell me how to speed theses things up? I realized that neither the application server nor the database does a lot of work during this slow refresh. Therefore I expect this not to be an hardware issue.
Thank you very much for any ideas or hints on how to use Excel Comments with BPC.
