Hi,
When I use BPC Web and EPM Launch Excel Add-ins I get a full list of connections to select from, but when I open Excel and then Log on I must create all connections manually. It's OK for me to do it but we have 500 users and a lot of them cannot easy create connections.
The only problem with the list created from BPC Web is the names. Each connection name is very long, "[ServerName] [Environment] [Model]". Since we only have 1 server and 1 environment I would like to drop that part of the name.
I have 2 questions
1. Is it possible to control the name of the connections created from BPC Web?
2. Can I create a "Connection list" to all users (Connections.xml) that we can add using a script to all users (base on the list from BPC Web)?
