I'm trying to insert a report directly in Word and am having difficulty with the number format. I'd like to show the figures in millions, to one decimal place, with negative figures in brackets. To be more precise I'd also like to line up the decimal points.
However, I can't convince the formatting to go to millions. I can get to thousands but not millions.
I am entering this in the EPM Number Format section - #,##0.0,,;(#,##0.0,,) but it doesn't work. I can show the figures in round thousands, but not to one decimal place.
Also, it seems that the number format is applicable throughout the document and not by report.
Looking at the documentation it seems I'm not going to find a solution. Can anyone tell me if there is a way?
