BPC SSIS Tasks error

Dear Experts,

We are using BPC 7.5 SP04 MS version with multiserver environment with BPC installation on Application Server and database and OLAP installation on database server, we have installed SQL 2008 Shared features components + SSIS + Business Intelligence Development Studio and Management Tools complete on application server and developed few custom packages.

Now the issue is we need one more system to be used for custom packages development so we have prepared one system with SQL 2008 Shared features components + SSIS + Business Intelligence Development Studio and Management Tools complete installed (same installation like Application server) and copied the BPC tasks dllu2019s to the required folder u201CC:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\DTS\Tasksu201D and then added BPC tasks in u201CControl Flow Itemsu201D tab of u201CBusiness Intelligence Development Studiou201D. Now when I am trying to use any BPC task in package it gives error message:

Failed to create the task.

Additional Information:

Cannot create a task with the name "OSoft.Services.Application.Datamgr.Task.SSISAdmin,

OSoftTaskAdmin2008, Version=7.0.112.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=bf6c37fa78f5a648".

Verify that the name is correct.

(Package)

Now my question is do we need to install BPC server on this new machine prepared for BPC tasks to work or if I say in other language that we can develop packages using BPC SSIS task only on Application server (where BPC server is installed).

OR

Is there any other way to make it work?

Please Advice!!

Thanks as always.

Regards,

Rohit
