Cannot save or update data after changing SQL server authentication to mixed mode

Hi experts,

Currently the SQL server for BPC is set as "Windows Authentication mode". I would like to change it to "SQL Server and Windows Authentiation mode" (Mixed mode) for remote login.

However, after changing the mode, I'm not able to save or update data in input form any more.

Retrieving data is fine. But if I input data in an empty cell and click submit, Excel will become unresponsive.

If I modify an existing data cell and click submit, it only refreshes the worksheet and shows its original value.

What is worse, the problem still exists after I change it back to Windows Authentication mode.

I can only restore a previous backup image to make it normal.

Does anyone encounter the same problem as I do?

It doesn't seem to be an expected behavior as Mixed mode is used in some BPC installation documentation.

BPC version: 10.0 for MS

SQL version: 2008 R2

Thank you very much.

Connie
