Hello Experts,
I have setup drill through to a database table and it works perfect for most of the cells for which it was setup. How ever for few cells when I click display table in Microsoft excel it does not bring any data (Only brings the drill through heading but not the data) but all the drill through setup cells works 100% perfect when I click display table in web browser option. Any one please help me resolve this issue.Your help is appreciated.

I need to lookup value for 2 accts and for different quarters. lookup works when I have only one accts and a for loop for quarters.
it doenst work when I add another for loop to lookup value for the second acct. anything wrong with the syntax?

We are using Microsoft BPC 7.5 on SQL server 2008 R2. we are having issue to kill/cancel DataManeger package jobs and Audit Reporting jobs from schedule, user ID who scheduled has been deleted from application and database. jobs are executing since 1year. as the user ID deleted jobs failing. we need to clear these jobs from application as well as from database. please let us know from which table and from where we get the schedule information and we can delete the job entries of particular user?

I am trying get headcount acct value for each quarter..OLAPLOOKUP RETURNS a sum of all months instead of Q1,Q2,Q3,Q4
LOOK VALUE FOR Q1 - returns value of Jan+FEB+mar

My client wants to load the eliminating entries generated in the BPC elimination process back to ECC. They are using BPC MS 10.0. Right now I have built a DMP using the Extract from Fact Table. My SAP counterparts are having an issue with the file not being in the proper format to load back into ECC using a GL upload program(I am not sure how else to explain this as I am not familiar with SAP processes). Has anyone done any such thing?
I should also mention that account, intercompany and cost center dimensions have to be converted back to ECC specifications.

I need some help regarding BPC 10.0 MS Version installation. I did installed the complete software and can login to BPC admin console, excel EPM Ribbon also works fine.
My question is that how can I verify that the installation is complete and complete features are installed?
I am a bo consultant and this is my first step into BPC World.

We have a VM base server managed by Hyper-V on windows server 2012.

SQL Server 2012 Developer Edition
I installed the BPC 10.0 version for Microsoft SP15 two days ago.Installation was completed without any error.
After installation there is no icon of BPC and also web link for BPC does not work.
I used the link http://<server name>:port/sap/bpc
there is a server error displayed. I checked the link in IE and Mozilla also.
I am new to BPC. It seems that I am missing some obvious things here

there are a number of predefined flow types that deal with changes in the scope of consolidation. These are
* VARSCPMETH : changes in method
* VARSCPPERC: changes in percentage
* VARSCPLEAVE : entities leaving
* VAPSCPNEW : entities being added
* VARSCP : ????
I do not quite understand what the last one is for. I would also like to know if I can change (via a business rule?) how the system uses it. I have a scenario where I have no change in my ownership data, however the system still posts to the VARSCP element on a datasrc which we populate with a script. Essentially it reverses out the opening balance value via the VARSCP element.
So, can I change how the system behaves here?

We have a group of users experiencing the following error; When a pre-designed report is refreshed, every dimension title displays as "#NAME?" Also, all formulas display as "#NAME?" as well, and the pre selected context settings do not load.
I tried to build a fresh report, and the report pulls in the correct values, but all dimesions display "#NAME"?
Any suggestions? We have tried re-installing the add-in, and I have processed all dimensions, models, security, logic, etc.

we're on BPC 10 (for MS), SP 21 patch 1. I want to implement a daily upload of data from a csv file into BPC, but I don't find a way to automatize this. How can I schedule a data upload? Is there a package for that?

I am building an export file to load data into ECC and I need to provide the data in a specific format.
How can I do the following:
1. Cost Center to ECC needs to be the combination of the BPC Cost Center and Company code. For example, costcenter-companycode(6000-1000)
2. Conversion of Account and company codes to ECC equivalent.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
I am curious, is there a way to tell which service pack The BPC Server is on?
Clicking on the Manage Activity Audit or Manage Data Audit links in the web admin page produces a page that looks like an error page in our production environment. First, I am fairly certain that I do have permissions to do this.
I would like to troubleshoot this but it appears to be a black box so it either works or it is broken.
Ours is broken and has been broken for years with many people looking at it.

This works fine in our staging environment.
Could it be too much data?
Hi Experts,
We have an user access issue that doesn't allow the users to save comments.
It says "Member 00000 of dimension DEPARTMENT,TIME,VERSION cannot be saved due to a violation of a write privilege"
This is happening to this particular type of users on this input form.
The input form doesn't reference the member 00000 anywhere and the data access profile is set to read only for 00000.
Is there any way to work around this? If I delete the the member or set it to denied, it will affect the other Input forms.

I have a report that looks like

ExpenseExec Department 1 1000 1000
ExpenseExec Department 2 2000 2500
ExpenseExec Total 3000 3500
The formula for ExpenseExec in the master is
ExpenseExec=Expense-Exec
Basically Expense has a Exec node under it. The user has asked us to change the formula to
ExpenseExec=Expense-Exec+Account200
While I want to change the formula, I am not sure what other reports it will affect.
I am thinking of two ways
1) Create another member with desired formula similar to ExpenseExec
2) Create a local member that adds the account to the totals that are already there in the account.
Is there any other way of changing this other than the formula?
I recently took over as admin for a BPC environment that has Category as an unsecured dimension. After issues with people posting to Actuals we want to make Category a secured dimension so we can restrict it by data access profiles. Since there would be a missing secured dimension in each access profile, will this cause an issue?
